29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): Within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, the employer must certify to OSHA (the Agency) that each cited violation has been abated, except as provided in paragraph (c)(2) of this section.   The employer did not provide the Occupational Safety and Health Administration certification of abatement as required for Citation #1, Items #1 & #2 issued on February 19, 2020.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.  At the jobsite located at 11824 Texas Wichita, Kansas:  Employees engaged in roofing activities using pneumatic nailers were exposed to struck-by hazards in that eye protection was not provided.  Limited Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1338325, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/2/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 9420-9422 E. Bedell St., Wichita, Kansas 67212.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  Employees were exposed to fall hazards.  At the jobsite located at 11824 Texas Wichita, Kanas:  An employee engaged in residential roofing activities, walking and working on a 4:12 pitch roof, was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8 feet 3 inches from the eave of the residence to the ground below in that fall protection was not utilized.   Limited Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1338325, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/2/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 9420-9422 E. Bedell St., Wichita, Kansas 67212.
