29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about October 22, 2019, employees were required to conduct maintenance on electric powered industrial vehicles including servicing of batteries which required the addition of water to the batteries. Employees were exposed to corrosive battery acid. the employer did not provide suitable facilities for the flushing of the eyes within the work area for immediate emergency use. This item was corrected during the inspection.
