29 CFR 1926.452(k)(5): Scaffold platforms were bridged on to another.  a) On or about 10/24/19, on a roofing job site, at a house at 28 St. James Place, Buffalo, NY:  A ladder jack scaffold consisting of 3 support ladders and two approx. 20 ft. long aluminum piks was erected on the east side of the house. The pik on the north end overlapped (bridged) the pik on the south end by about 12 inches at the middle support ladder. Employees go on the piks to install roofing materials on the lower area of the roof.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Pitch of the roof was approx. 10 in 12.    NO ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED      Eastern Remodeling LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1364244, citation number 1,  item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/22/2019 with respect to a workplace located at 183 Milnor Avenue, Lackawanna, NY 14218.
