Employees of AGI Roofing, LLC were observed using a pneumatic gun to nail down shingles on a roof without the benefit of eye/face protective equipment. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or about October 23, 2019, the employer did not ensure that its employees were protected from falls while working at heights greater than 6 feet. Employees of AGI Roofing, LLC., were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 12 feet while engaged in roofing activities on a commercial building with no fall protection in place.
