29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: (a)AH Construction, LLC at 5th Street and Main Avenue, Lennox, SD 57039: On or about and at times prior to October 25, 2019, the exposing employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards by use of an appropriate fall protection system when performing roofing activities on a 12-in-12 pitched roof at a height greater than 6 feet above the ground level. This condition exposed five employees to a 15-foot fall hazard. AH Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1354712, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 7, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1200 South Hyannis Port Lane, Sioux Falls, SD 57106.
