29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and heated parts: a. 1 Crossman Road North, Sayreville, NJ The employer did not ensure that sufficient guarding was provided to protect employees from ingoing nip points and point of operation hazards for equipment that included, but was not limited to Rebar Machine Services, Inc., Rebar Bender, Serial number 18-M-442. Employees engaged in the testing of reinforced steel products operated a R.M.S. Rebar Bender without adequate guarding to prevent employees operating the machine or employees walking near the machine from placing body parts or reaching directly into the moving parts of the machine . Violation occurred on or about October 25, 2019
