29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):        On or about November 4, 2019, at the previously addressed job site, employees performing residential roofing operations, at more than 17 feet above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.     Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).     To abate this hazard in the future, the employer must ensure that employees are protected from the hazard of falling by the use of fall protection.      This employer has been previously cited for this practice that included:     A & Son Roofing Improvements Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1322386, citation number 1, item number 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at N114 W15779 Sylvan Circle, Germantown, WI 53022.      Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including an explanation of how these steps protect its employees from fall hazards.
