OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: A.) Titusville Enterprises dba Titusville Fabricators, 191 Howard Street, Franklin, PA 16323, dust collection system for the coating line in Bay C, on or about December 9, 2019 and times prior thereto: Employees were potentially exposed to fire and deflagration hazards from a dust collector that was located inside the building. The Farr Tenkey dust collection system was located inside the building at the coating line in Bay C. The dust collector processed combustible dust. B.) Titusville Enterprises dba Titusville Fabricators, 191 Howard Street, Franklin, PA 16323, dust collection system for the coating line in Bay C, on or about December 9, 2019 and times prior thereto: Employees were potentially exposed to fire and deflagration hazards from a dust collector that was not equipped with devices and systems to prevent the propagation of deflagration and associated flame fronts from the dust collector, and through the associated dust collection system duct work. The Farr Tenkey dust collection system was not equipped with approved devices to prevent the propagation of deflagration and associated flame fronts throughout the dust collection system. The dust collection systems serviced the coating line in Bay C. The dust collector processed combustible dust.
