29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  Englert, Inc. 1200 Amboy Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ - manufacturing areas:  a. The employer did not ensure adequate machine guarding was provided to prevent employees from entering or inserting body parts into machines or equipment.  Employees engaged in the manufacture of products worked at or around equipment that included, but was not limited to Roll Forming Machine#103, were able to clean the machine while running as the guard was raised, the screws had been removed, so the equipment did not have a physical guard and/or interlocks to stop the equipment when the guard was opened.   Violation occurred on or about November 11, 2019  b. The employer did not ensure adequate machine guarding was provided to prevent employees from entering or inserting body parts into machines or equipment.  Employees engaged in the manufacture of products worked at or around equipment that included, but was not limited to Yellow Slitter Machine #145 in the Slitting Department, were able to enter the point of operation by the machine roller where there was no physical guard, interlock or other device installed and the equipment continued to run.  Violation occurred on or about February 26, 2020
