29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: On or about January 23, 2020, relocatable power taps used for office equipment such as chargers, computers, printers, scanners, and fax machines were series-connected and not directly connected to a permanently installed branch circuit receptacle in the following areas: a. At the Consumer Safety Office-Import cubicle area, at the Toro Building. b. At the Import-Media cubicle area, at the Toro Building. c. At the Division of Pharma Quality Operations cubicle area, at the Toro Building. d. At the Division of SE Import cubicle area, at the Toro Building. e. At the IT Supervisory Specialist office area, at Building #8. NOTE 1: The U.S. Food And Drug Administration was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1095568, Notice 1, Item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 01/07/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 606 Tito Castro Avenue, Suite 213, La Rambla Plaza, Ponce, PR. NOTE 2: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
