29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line systems and guardrail systems, warning line systems and safety net systems, or warning line systems and personal fall arrest systems, or warning line systems and safety monitoring systems: On or about August 21, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that employees who were working on a commercial/residential roofing project were protected from a fall from height of approximately 28 feet in height. Employees were working on a roofing project at a job site located at 430 Jefferson Ave., Cleveland OH 44113, performing the task of removing the old roofing materials. Employees were not wearing any personal fall protection nor was there an alternative fall protection system in place.
