29 CFR 1910.1026(c): Employees were exposed to an airborne concentration of chromium (VI) which exceeded 5 micrograms per cubic meter of air, as an 8-hour time-weighted average: An employee engaged in spray painting of small aircraft parts,in Hanger 1124 small paint booth #190, was exposed to hexavalent chromium hazards in that the employee had an 8 hour time weighted average (TWA) of 6.14 µg/m3, which is 1.23 times the calculated OSHA permissible exposure level (PEL) of 5.0 ug/m3.

29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(4)(i): Employees were allowed to consume food or beverages at a worksite where chromium (VI) was present; however, the employer did not ensure that the eating and drinking areas were maintained as free as practicable of chromium (VI): Employees engaged in eating and drinking activities in Hanger 1124 were exposed to hexavalent chromium hazards in that selection buttons for the Aquafina vending machine in the common area hallway were not maintained as free as practicable of hexavalent chromium.
