29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Unguarded projecting shaft end(s) did not present a smooth edge and end and projected more than one half the diameter of the shaft:    Examples of projections on shaft ends existed, such as, an extended key in a rotating shaft keyway, on the PDM line by the tray dispenser; and on the laminate line at a conveyor after the guillotine, where a set screw was raised from the shaft surface.
