29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) At the site, on or about December 5, 2019, the employer did not ensure employees working from the roof of a two story residential home employed the required fall protection to safeguard against fall hazards, thereby exposing employees to falls of approximately 17.5 feet. The Above The Sky Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1008420, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 11, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2005 Hodgeville Road, Rincon, Georgia 31326.
