29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:    On or about December 10, 2019, employees were exposed to fire hazards when working in the main store and storage room and the employer did not ensure portable fire extinguishers were identified and accessible in the following instances:    1. In the main store near the entrance to the storage room the portable fire extinguisher was obstructed by store merchandise.    2. In the storage room near the exit door the portable fire extinguisher was obstructed by boxes of seasonal merchandise and the location was not identified.    3. In the storage room near the restrooms the portable fire extinguisher was obstructed by boxes and the location was not identified.
