29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye: a. 198 South Point Blvd., McDonough, GA (Shop Area)- The employer failed to notify the Atlanta-East OSHA office of an accident resulting in a amputation injury, within 24 hours of the accident. The employee suffered a fall, resulting in a injury of a broken hip December 6, 2019; 3:03 pm and was reported to the OSHA Area Office until December 7, 2019; 5:06 pm. The employer indicated that they were notified of the incident on December 7, 2019; 3:05 pm.
