29 CFR 1910.107(b)(3): The floor surface of a spray booth and operator's working area, if combustible, was not covered with noncombustible material of such character as to facilitate the safe cleaning and removal of residues.    a) On December 12, 2019, Voestalpine Precision Strip LLC., the operator's work area was not covered with non-combustible material to facilitate the cleaning and removal of residues.  The work surface of the Global Finishing Solutions industrial type spray booth was covered with combustible cardboard, where the product was sprayed with a category 1 flammable aerosol paint. 29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(iv): Space within the spray booth on the downstream and upstream sides of filters was not protected with approved automatic sprinklers.  a)  On December 12, 2019, Voestalpine Precision Strip LLC., did not ensure the Global Finishing Solutions industrial type spray booth was equipped with an approved automatic sprinkler system.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19 (d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstration that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
