29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v): (a) KLX Energy Services LLC, at Latitude 40.131299, Longitude -105.042743, Regnier Farms 19H-B268, Longmont, CO: On 12/13/2019, except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v). Employees worked on a oil/gas well site performing well completion activities. Employees operated a gasoline fueled accumulator and a diesel fueled accumulator to control the blowout preventer. An unlabeled red approximate five gallon container was on an accumulator skid. This condition potentially exposed employees to a chemical hazard.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that Safety Data Sheets (SDS) were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): (a) KLX Energy Services LLC, at Latitude 40.131299, Longitude -105.042743, Regnier Farms 19H-B268, Longmont, CO: On and preceding 12/13/2019, the employer did not ensure that Safety Data Sheets (SDS) were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s). KLX Energy Services LLC worked on a oil/gas well site performing well completion activities with other employers. KLX Energy Services LLC did not ensure on-site access to SDSs for hazardous chemicals brought to the well site by KLX Energy Services LLC that other employers' employees may be exposed to while working at the multi-employer worksite. Hazardous chemicals brought to the well site by KLX Energy Services LLC included, but were not limited to the following: 1. Gasoline to fuel an accumulator; and 2. Diesel fuel to fuel an accumulator.
