29 CFR 1910.212(a)(5): Fan blade guards, where the periphery of the blades was less than seven feet above the floor or working level, had openings larger than one half inch: Chiller Room: On or about December 10, 2019 and at times prior thereto, where the periphery of the blades of a fan on a Trane Unit Heater was located at 6.79 feet above the floor, the opening was three-quarters (3/4) inch and increased to one and one half (1 1/2) inch. This condition exposed employees to laceration hazards.
