29 CFR 1926.304(f): All woodworking tools and machinery did not meet other applicable requirements of American National Standards Institute, 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery. Location: Unit 3 Instance A: The DeWalt table saw lacked a magnetic starter switch or other means to prevent automatic restart of the saw after a power failure. Instance B: An employee wore gloves while operating the saw.

29 CFR 1926.304(h)(1): Each circular crosscut table saw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw blade above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut:Note: See paragraph (i)(1) of this section for additional requirements for hand-fed crosscut table saws. Location: Unit 3 The DeWalt DWE780 table saw blade was unguarded. An employee suffered a finger amputation while using the unguarded saw.
