29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Sperling Heating & Ventilation Co. Inc., on or about January 9, 2020 at Bowling Green University Central Services Building, Bowling Green, OH: The employer did not ensure employees working atop a commercial structure were adequately protected from falls. The employees working in this condition were exposed to an approximately 13.5 ft. fall to the ground below.
