29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: 69 Lynwood Ave., Longmeadow, MA: On or about December 20,2019, three employees were roofing this residence, more than 16 feet above the ground below without any fall protection. The employer routinely does not assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on September 17, 2017, when employees were installing shingles on a residential roof located at Woolworth St., Longmeadow, MA without fall protection. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of more than 15 feet above the next lower level (ground). Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
