29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): On or about January 15, 2020, and at times prior thereto, throughout the facility where employees were exposed to stuck-by hazards to the feet and hand laceration hazards when handling building products. The employer had not performed a workplace hazard assessment, selected PPE to be used, or provided and required the use of the selected PPE.
