29 CFR 1904.39(a)(1): The employer did not report within 8-hours the death of an employee resulting from a work-related incident a) Date of Violation: On or about 01-17-2020, onboard Dredge Marion, located in the James River at 5001 Deep Water Terminal Rd. Richmond, VA 23230, the employer did not report to OSHA an unexplained death of a crew member that was found onboard the uninspected vessel. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
