29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment:  PASSIVATION, PHOSPHATING, and ANODIZING LINES:  On or about and at times prior to January 28, 2020, the employer had not selected appropriate personal protective equipment for employees to wear while processing parts.  Employees were provided with safety glasses to wear when goggles and/or face shields would be more protective in the event that chemicals are splashed from the tanks.

29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer:  PASSIVATION, PHOSPHATING, AND ANODIZING LINES:  On or about and at times prior to January 28, 2020, employees were provided N-95 particulate respirators to wear on a voluntary basis but they had not been provided with training pertaining to the contents of Appendix D of the Respiratory Protection Standard.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  COMPANY-WIDE:  On or about and at times prior to January 28, 2020, the employer did not ensure that employees were provided with information pertaining to the physical and health hazards associated with hazardous chemicals they would be exposed to.  Hazardous chemicals in use included, but were not limited to: chromic acid, nitric acid, and sulfuric acid.
