OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from crushing hazards: (a) Facility, 6655 N. Noah Drive, Saxonburg, PA: On or about February 3, 2020 an employee sustained broken fingers on their right hand when they applied a load on a hatch door that had a gas shock tack welded in place. The employee was attempting to test the pressure necessary to pull the hatch door closed when the tack weld failed and caused the hatch lid to close catching the employee's right hand between the hatch door and frame.
