29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): Section 603(e) of American National Standard Institute, B56.1-1969 Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks, as adopted by 29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): When a truck was left unattended, load engaging means were not fully lowered, controls were not neutralized, power was not shut off, brakes were not set, and the key or connector plug was not removed: a) Job Site - The forks of an unattended Pettibone 944X were left elevated 21 inches above the ground exposing employees to struck-by hazards, on or about February 12, 2020. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
