29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:       a) On February 13, 2020, employees were exposed to eye injury while operating a pneumatic nail gun without eye protection during carpentry work.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):       a)  On February 13, 2020, employees engaged in carpentry work were not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of approximately 12 feet above the ground.     Styl Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1380166, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 9, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 818 Bryant, Winnetka, Illinois 60093.    Styl Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1303943, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 25, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 677 Sheridan Rd., Glencoe, Illinois 60022.    No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
