29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated:  The employer failed to provided to OSHA a certificate of abatement for the citations issued on June 24, 2020 for the construction site located at 2920 NW Thoreau Drive, Lee's Summit, MO 64081. The certifications were due to OSHA by July 21, 2020 and were not provided.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii):   At a site located at 2920 NW Thoreau Drive, Lees Summit, MO 64082: Employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to injury/illness from dermal, ingestion, and inhalation hazards from exposure to hazardous chemicals.  The employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program to ensure that employees were aware of the hazards associated with the chemicals with which they work.  Hazardous chemicals used at the site included but were not limited to gasoline and adhesives

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  At a site located at 2920 NW Thoreau Drive, Lees Summit, MO 64082: Employees were engaged in roofing, siding, and framing of a residential house and were exposed to injury/illness from dermal, ingestion, and inhalation hazards from exposure to hazardous chemicals. The employer has not provided any training to employees of the hazards of the jobsite while working with adhesives and other chemicals.

The employer has not provided safety data sheets to the employees either on the jobsite or maintained online for their access.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  At a site located at 2920 NW Thoreau Drive, Lees Summit, MO 64082: Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. Employees were using pneumatic nail guns when putting down roofing shingles without the use of any form of safety glasses. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazard when eye protection was not provided or worn at the time of the inspection.
