29 CFR 1910.22(d)(2): The employer did not ensure hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces were corrected or repaired before an employee used the walking-working surface again. When the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard was not guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired. On or about March 3, 2020 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure the hazards such as, the damaged ceiling, loose boards, and protruding nails on the walking-working surfaces in the lumber storage sheds were corrected or repaired prior to employees accessing the walking-working surface. On or about March 3, 2020 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure the stairs employees use to access the second story of the lumber storage sheds had a safe stair rail system. This exposed the employees to fall hazard.
