This condition exposed employees to chemical hazards and hazards associated with use of respiratory protection.

29 CFR 1910.134(i)(7): Oil lubricated compressor(s) used to supply breathing air did not have a high-temperature or carbon monoxide alarm(s) or both: a)Trail-eze, Inc. at 323 West Quince Street in Mitchell, SD 57301: On or about and at times prior to March 9, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from hazards related to carbon monoxide inhalation when using supplied air respirators in the paint booth of the finish department. The paint booth utilized a Bullard COHP (Serial Number 06039) Carbon Monoxide sensor that was noted to be turned off at the time of the inspection. This condition exposed employees to carbon monoxide inhalation hazards.
