29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(21): Each employee shall use at least one hand to grasp the ladder when progressing up and/or down the ladder. At the residential construction site located at 1417 N Orchid Ct. in Andover, Kansas; an employee engaged in residential framing activities was exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 10 feet from the top rung of the portable extension ladder to the ground below. Employee ascended the ladder to stand on the top rung, preventing employee from grasping the ladder with at least one hand.
