29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields:     a.)  On or about March 12, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees working near the weld department were protected from stray ultraviolet radiation from the arc rays by not providing welding curtains.  Employees working in the adjacent areas including other welders and employees driving through on forklifts were not protected from arc rays during the welding process.

On or about March 12, 2020, the employer failed to provide Appendix D of the respiratory protection standard to employees who wore filtering face piece respirators (dust masks) voluntarily.   Employees wear the masks while welding.
