29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries. General Area: An Amerex portable fire extinguisher type ABC was not mounted and identified by a sign indicating the fire extinguisher location. Employees were exposed to fire hazards. The U. S. Dept. of Agriculture, Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1061717, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/17/2015, with respect to a workplace located at Groveland Ranger District 24545 Highway 120, Groveland, CA 95321.
