29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:   At the residential construction site located at 3524 Michigan Ave Kansas City, MO 64109: Employees were exposed to chemical hazards while applying sealant/adhesive and fueling machinery while conducting re-roofing work. No written hazard communication program was in place.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   At the residential construction site located at 3524 Michigan Ave Kansas City, MO 64109: Employees engaged in reroofing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 17 feet from the edge to the ground below while accessing and exiting the roof. The portable ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing and was not secured to the structure.      Ramirez Roofing & Repair was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(B)(1) fall protection, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1271713, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on March 21, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 7935 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   At the residential construction site located at 3524 Michigan Ave Kansas City, MO 64109: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard when no form of fall protection was provided to the employees working approximately 17 feet above the ground. Employees were removing old shingles and replacing with new shingles, without the use of any form of fall protection.   Ramirez Roofing & Repair was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501 (B)(13) fall protection, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1271713, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 21, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 7935 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO.
