29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about March 19, 2020 at the worksite located at 218 Maple Brook Drive (lot 165) Dawsonville, Georgia within the Black Mill Preserve Subdivision, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10'9'' feet while installing floor trusses on a new residential structure. The employer failed to ensure that the employee was properly protected from fall hazards of six feet or more from a lower level, by means of a fall protection system.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  On or about March 19, 2020 at the worksite located at 218 Maple Brook Drive (lot 165) Dawsonville, Georgia within the Black Mill Preserve Subdivision an employee who was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet to the inside of the structure and 22.2 feet to the outside of the structure, was not adequately trained in the use of fall protection on how to properly reduce or eliminate the hazard.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
