29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line systems and guardrail systems, warning line systems and safety net systems, or warning line systems and personal fall arrest systems, or warning line systems and safety monitoring systems: (a) On or about May 8, 2020, employees engaged in tearing off shingles on a 4/12 pitched roof, were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 25 feet.
