29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about May 20, 2020, at 8414 Sierra Meadows Blvd., Naples Florida, employees engaged in commercial construction operations were exposed to a 18-foot fall hazard when the ladder used to gain access to the upper level was not extended 3 feet above the landing surface.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about May 20, 2020, at 8414 Sierra Meadows Blvd. Naples, Florida, employees engaged in commercial construction operations were exposed to a 20-foot fall hazard when installing plywood without means of fall protection. AJ Building Contractors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1293134, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 11, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 3135 Amadora Circle, Cape Coral, Florida.
