29 CFR 1904.39(a)(1): The employer did not report within 8-hours the death of an employee resulting from a work-related incident a) Facility, Operating Room - An employee working as a Registered Nurse and providing direct care to COVID-19 positive patients and patients under investigation for COVID-19, died on 4/16/2020 of COVID-19. The employer failed to report the death of the employee to OSHA within 8-hours of learning of it, on or about 4/21/2020. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
