29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Gedert Roofing & Repair LLC at the address of 110 East Back Bay in Bowling Green, Ohio: On or about June 18, 2020 the employer did not ensure that employees had been adequately trained in the appropriate use of fall protection. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately ten feet from the eave of the roof to the ground below during roof tear off and sheeting operations of a 10/12 peak two story residential roof.

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1): The employer did not initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part. a) Gedert Roofing & Repair LLC at the address of 110 East Back Bay in Bowling Green, Ohio: On or about June 18, 2020 the employer did not have a plan or program to identify job site hazards which assists employees in maintaining a safe working environment. Such programs would support the employer and employees in identifying and avoiding potential hazards such as, but not limited to, falls during jobsite operations. Gedert Roofing & Repair LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.20(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1428244, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 14, 2019 with respect to a workplace located at 3516 Nordic Way Drive in Maumee, Ohio.

Employees working in this manner were exposed to falls of approximately ten feet from the eave of the roof to the ground below. Gedert Roofing & Repair LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1428244, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 14, 2019 with respect to a workplace located at 3516 Nordic Way Drive in Maumee Ohio.
