29 CFR 1915.134(e): When safety guards are required, they shall be so mounted as to maintain proper alignment with the wheel, and the guard and its fastenings shall be of sufficient strength to retain fragments of the wheel in case of accidental breakage. The maximum angular exposure of the grinding wheel periphery and sides shall not exceed 180 degrees.   Location: South east side of pier @ 32 Water St. Fairhaven, MA 02719  On or about 6/22/20 an employee working on the inside of a fishing boat was cutting steel cross member beams  with a Dewalt hand held grinder without no guard and was injured when the grinder kicked back and cut the back of his left leg.
