29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) Commercial Structure, Delta Wing, Exterior West Wall: On or about July 9, 2020, employees while off-loading precast concrete slabs were exposed to eleven (11) pieces of uncapped steel rebar, exposing employees to an impalement hazard. b) Commercial Structure, Delta Wing, Exterior South Wall: On or about July 9, 2020, employees were doing masonry work around three uncapped pieces of steel rebar, exposing employees to an impalement hazard.
