29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    (a)Gil Haugan Construction, Inc. at 1600 East 77th Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57104:  On or about and at times prior to July 9, 2020 the controlling and creating employer did not ensure that subcontracted employees were protected from falls while accessing the upper level of the fourth floor walking platform to gain access to the roof hatch.  This condition exposed subcontracted employees to a fall hazard of 11 feet.
