OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees operating cut off saws were exposed to struck by hazards. a. On or about June 25, 2020, employees operating a CR10-A-16V4 16-inch diameter wheel cut-off saw cutting part 288 were exposed to amputation hazards. Employees held the parts in their hands while cutting the parts and were within inches of the blade. b. On or about June 25, 2020, employees operating a CR15-A-16V4-AEB 16-inch diameter wheel cut-off saw cutting part 288 were exposed to amputation hazards. Employees held the parts in their hands while cutting the parts and were within inches of the blade.
