29 CFR 1926.100(a): An employee working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, was not protected by a protective helmet. On 7/29/2020, employees from Lee Allen Contracting, Inc. were installing siding on the rear of a residential building located at 410 Riverdell Drive in Wentzville, MO. Two employees were working from pump jack scaffolding approximately 12-15 feet above the ground. Another employee was cutting siding below the other employees. He was not wearing a protective helmet while working beneath the employees on the scaffolding. The employee was subject to head injuries from possible falling tools and materials.
