29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 7/29/2020, employees from Thoroughbred Construction LLC were installing sheathing on a roof of a residence located on lot 57 Mason Glen Drive in Wentzville, MO. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The co-owners and two employees were observed on the roof of the building approximately eight to seventeen feet above the ground without fall protection, exposing them to a fall to the ground below.
