29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling: On or about August 17, 2020, employees stood on platforms on bins 4 and 7 while observing another employee in the bin. The platforms were over 4 feet above the ground and did not have guardrails thereby exposing employees to falls. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
