29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. On or about September 1, 2020, employees engaged in scaffold erection operations were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 10-ft. due to not being trained by a competent person to recognize hazards associated with scaffolds and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.
