29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: A.) K.J.M. General Construction, LLC, 18 West 18th Street, Erie, PA 16501, roof, north side of the structure, on or about September 9, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were performing roofing activities that included, but were not limited to, stretching rubber membrane roofing material over the parapet and roof. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of over 25-feet. Employees were not utilizing a means or method of fall protection. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation. This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. IN ADDITION, abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic, or video evidence or abatement or other written records.

General Construction, LLC, 18 West 18th Street, Erie, PA 16501, roof, north side of the structure, on or about September 9, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were performing roofing activities without fall protection, and were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 25-feet. Employees did not have fall protection training.
