29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish the employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm, in that employees were exposed to fall and crushing hazards due to being caught in a structural collapse. A) 6015 Bayview Ave, Brant Beach, NJ - The employer permitted employees to unload and stack roofing shingles onto a small area of the roof. The roof was designed to hold 40 pounds per square foot, and the shingles were stacked to create a load of 287 pounds per square foot. The roof collapsed exposing employee(s) to fall and struck-by hazard(s) as they fell with the broken roof and associated materials onto the floor below. Condition noted on or about September 24, 2020
